​AARP MARYLAND FREE Shredding Event

AARP Maryland is hosting a free document shredding event for the community from 10:30 AM to 1:30 PM on October 14, 2026.  Members are asked to bring non-perishable food donations to support local food banks. The event will be held at the Worcester County Library - Ocean Pines Branch, 11107 Cathell Road, Ocean Pines, MD 21811.  

AARP Chapter 1917 members should note this event is scheduled at the same time as the October 2026 monthly membership meeting. However, Rudolph Brevard, volunteered to collect your documents for shredding and non-perishable items, and transport them to the shredding event so you do not miss the meeting. Rudolph will collect your items at the front door of the Ocean City 50Plus Center from 9:15 AM to 10:15 AM before the monthly meeting starts. Please drop off your items before entering the center.

​TAX AIDE SITES will provide free tax preparation for seniors and low

to moderate income taxpayers.​All tax preparations will be scheduled by appointment only.  ​​
